Dear Friends & Clients:

The winter is rolling along just fine, inspite of a snowpack that in size is still below normal for Western Canadian standards - lots of nice weather with cold temperatures though, which makes for excellent ice climbing conditions here in the Rockies. I have been very busy heli-skiing in Revelstoke for CMH as well as some ice climbing around our new home in Canmore.

Slowly but surely, new programs make it onto our web-site - the latest addition being "Best of Cortina", a 13 day Via Ferrata Trek in the Eastern Dolomites, which I had done for the first time three years ago with Peter Muller's group from Salt Lake City. Next priority will be updating our ski touring programs in Canada and adding a web page for ice climbing trips in the Canadian Rockies.

In April, we will be running two private ski touring trips, for which I'm still looking for participants to join us:

April 12/13/14 a traverse from Peyto Lake, Peyto Hut to Bow Hut and down to Bow Lake and on April 16 a day tour in the Lake Louise area.

April 30 - May 5 a traverse from the Little Yoho Valley (three nights in the Stanley Mitchell Hut) to the Wapta Icefields, Bow Hut, Balfour Hut and Via Mount Balfour and Sherwood Lake to the Transcanadian Highway - a great ski tour on the big glaciers of the Rockies!

Also, on popular demand, we wanted to share some photos with the view from the living room and the balcony of our new "castle" in Canmore as well as "Biscuit", the new addition to our family.
