Steps for making a booking

To reserve your spot, please contact us directly at info@ontopmountaineering.com or complete our enquiry form

Your OnTop Trip Coordinator will send you a booking email with a link to a questionnaire along with separate emails to a Release of Liability & Assumption of Risk Agreement (the “liability waiver”), and subsequently to a Flywire invoice with a link to make payment.

We require a non-refundable deposit equaling 25% of the trip price with the balance payable 60 days before the trip starts, once participants have agreed to the contents of the liability waiver and have signed it.
*Boat-based trips, heli-assisted ski touring trips, and fly-in lodge trips require the final balance payable 90 days before the trip starts.

Electronic Waivers

Your OnTop Trip Coordinator will send you an electronic version of our liability waiver via Docusign.  It is mandatory that every guest, including minors, read and sign it. It must be completed at your earliest convenience and is a requirement to join your OnTop Adventure.

Paper Waivers

If you’d prefer to complete the liability waiver form manually, our office will send you a pdf copy that you can print, sign, and send back to us.

Paper waivers for children under 18 years

If you have children under 18 years of age and would prefer to complete the liability waiver form manually, our office will send you a pdf copy that you can print, sign, and send back to us. Here’s a copy for reference:  Ontop Mountaineering Liability Waiver for Minors,
We do require the signature of one parent or legal guardian on the liability waiver before any minors depart on a trip with OnTop Mountaineering.

Payment options

A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total trip price or private guiding fee is due with your booking. You will receive an invoice via Flywire at the time of booking. Please follow the instructions on the invoice to make your payment. If you would like to make a payment using a different source of payment (for example, e-transfer, cheque, or wire transfer) please contact your trip coordinator.

We accept these forms of payment:

1.  Credit card: Visa or MasterCard through your Flywire invoice
2. E-Transfer (Canada only). E-transfer to: info@ontopmountaineering.com
3. Cheque: Cheques made out to OnTop Ltd. (US$ and CD$ only) 340 Canyon Close, Canmore, AB T1W1H4 Canada
**don’t forget extra postage if mailing from the US.
Cheque payment is only accepted if you book your trip at least 60 days in advance. Final payments are due 60 days before your trip starts.

4. Wire transfer to our European account: details on request.

Trip Information Letter

You will receive your Trip Information Letter at least 30 days before your trip starts.  This will include your trip details, itinerary, guide contact information and bio, meeting time, lodging reservations taxi transfers, etc. The details in your letter will depend on the components included in your trip package.

Trip Insurance

We strongly recommend trip insurance to cover unforeseen expenses, including cancellation, lost luggage, and pandemics.
